AQ Broker S.R.L. was established in 2001 according Law no 32/2000 regarding the insurance industry in Romania. The company started as an insurance broker for a group of Romanian companies involved in export/import business. Following the natural process of development in an very dynamic market, nowadays the company is managing a portfolio comprising not only of cargo covers but buildings, credit insurance, motor insurance, shippers liabilities, ship owners liabilities, personal injuries and illness, health, hull&machinery and so on. The company also provides consultancy on risk profiles for insurance companies, by caring out risk inspections and issuing reports. The loss adjustment and the loss assessment are other common activities together with damage inspections. The company remains mainly interested in negotiating and managing the insurances portfolio of its clients. For this purpose the firm is permanently connected to the market maintaining good relations with the major insurance companies on the Romanian market as well as the foreign companies.
The manager (and the owner at the same time) with 12 years of experience in the industry, started as marine loss assessor and late become director of the Marine Division, together with six young employees, carefully and permanently trained and evaluated, ready to fulfill any request of the company clients. Presently the company is in the process of implementing a Quality Management System in order to gain the QMS certification according SR EN ISO 9001/2000 (the Romanian version of EN ISO 9001/2000).
